Every season seems to bring a different crochet obsession. For me, summer always means cotton yarn crochet projects.
As soon as the temperatures climb, I find myself reaching for projects that are lightweight, practical and made to be used every day. Cotton checks all the boxes. It breathes well in warm weather, washes beautifully and holds up to repeated use, which makes it perfect for the kinds of projects I love creating most.
Here are a few of my favorite cotton crochet projects for the summer.
Market Totes
There’s something satisfying about heading to a farmers market or beach day with a handmade bag slung over your shoulder.
